The ANWCB is an examination board. It is not an educational institution. Certificates issued by the ANWCB do not confer degrees. Certification does not grant legal qualifications or licensure. Board certification simply means that the coach/practitioner has completed the requirements set forth by the ANWCB and has succeeded in passing the board’s standardized test, which is hosted online, through a third party platform. The ANWCB neither guarantees the competence of the coach/practitioner nor accepts liability. Board certification is not a requirement to practice.
